Weather Word ...

Tour de Tulsa riders, we're sure the weather is on your mind as we approach the event. Here's our plan for Saturday morning, May 4th.
  1. At 8:00 am, we'll start the ride, unless there are thunderstorms or heavy rain. In that case, we'll push the start to 9:00 am and remove the 100-mile ride from the route mix.
  2. At 9:00 am, we'll start the ride, unless there are thunderstorms or heavy rain. In that case, we'll push the start once more to 10:00 am and remove both the 100-mile and the 62-mile rides from the event.
  3. Finally, at 10:00 am, we'll start the ride, unless there are thunderstorms or heavy rain. In that case, we'll CANCEL the ride and call it a day.
That's our plan. Hope this relieves any uncertainty you have about the ride start on Saturday morning.

NOTE: Wet pavement can lead to increased chances of accidents and flats. Keep that in mind as you're zipping along.

We look forward to seeing all of your smiling faces on Saturday morning!

Benefitting the River Parks

The Tour de Tulsa is happy to announce our beneficiary for the 2024 event, Tulsa's River Parks Authority.  The River Parks Authority is celebrating their 50th year in 2024!  We're looking forward to a long relationship between the Tour de Tulsa and River Parks.

The River Parks Authority's Mission: T
o maintain, preserve, develop, and promote the Arkansas River and adjacent land areas under the Authority’s jurisdiction within Tulsa County for the economic and cultural benefit of the community.  Their Vision: To be the region’s premier park, recreation, and entertainment destination.

Offering the best in outdoor recreation, River Parks’ 26 miles of asphalt-surfaced trails weave past gathering areas, playgrounds, fountains and sculptures along the banks of the Arkansas River in Tulsa. Additionally, River Parks owns and leases hundreds of acres reserved for wildlife habitation and land preservation. River Parks also controls the water levels of portions of the Arkansas River using the gates of the Zink Dam.
