Throughout the years, the Redbud has offered numerous opportunities for families, friends and the entire community to join together in exciting events, geared for all ages and fitness levels. Since the Redbud Classic began in 1983, it has experienced tremendous growth and strong community support. Today the Redbud remains focused on offering the community quality events while encouraging competition and fitness. The Redbud Classic is committed to bringing fitness and fun to our community; while donating money to local non-profit organizations. Since 1983, the Redbud has contributed nearly $1 million to local nonprofits.
We are excited to partner with Focus on Home as our 2024 beneficiary! Focus on Home provides furniture and furnishings to families in need. Since 2014, they have been serving families experiencing domestic violence, going through treatment and recovery programs, and experiencing homelessness for various reasons.

Flower Power is a scenic NE Oklahoma Ozark foothill and Arkansas River Valley ride.
Last Saturday of April. 20, 30, 50, 70, and 100-mile routes with road support and a free first-come-first-served cookout at the end.

Jenks West Elementary School, center parking lot.
Jenks to Mounds ride with less than 900 ft of climbing; you aren‘t likely to find a much flatter route out of Jenks West Elementary than this 29-mile out-and-back ride to Mounds. If you‘d rather go a shorter distance, you can cut over to Kiefer at 151st Street then head back to Jenks West Elementary.
Ride route and starting time are as specified here but may be altered by a consensus of riders at the ride start. There is no "leader" as such for our Saturday Club Rides and they are not marked. Maps can be downloaded from the Club‘s Ride With GPS page and the Ride With GPS smartphone app or your GPS device may be used to navigate the route.
New riders should be prepared to identify themselves so that regular riders can assist them with routing and such. The group may not ride together and typically breaks up into various pace groups.

Tour de Wichita is held April 28th and it is a urban bike, hike and walk event through the core of the city to raise money for two local non-profit organizations. We also will have a live concert and food plus drinks are part of your entry fee. The event website is https://tourdewichita.org/
