Jenks to Mounds ride with less than 900 ft of climbing; you aren‘t likely to find a much flatter route out of Jenks West Elementary than this 29-mile out-and-back ride to Mounds. If you‘d rather go a shorter distance, you can cut over to Kiefer at 151st Street then head back to Jenks West Elementary.

Ride route and starting time are as specified here but may be altered by a consensus of riders at the ride start. There is no "leader" as such for our Saturday Club Rides and they are not marked. Maps can be downloaded from the Club‘s Ride With GPS page and the Ride With GPS smartphone app or your GPS device may be used to navigate the route.

New riders should be prepared to identify themselves so that regular riders can assist them with routing and such. The group may not ride together and typically breaks up into various pace groups.

Tour de Neighbors takes place the second weekend in May. Tour de Neighbors started as a safe, outside event coming out of covid, and it was such a success that BAN decided to keep “rolling” and it has become one of its largest fundraisers. There is a route for everyone from a 1-mile fun ride around the Central Park Community Center on Main Street in Broken Arrow, to routes for more advanced riders that go out to east Broken Arrow with options for 15, 30, or 40 miles. Tour of the Wichitas offers a beautiful cycling ride through the Wichita Mountains and the historic Fort Sill military base — all near Lawton, Oklahoma. The bike ride takes you through some of the most enchanting scenery in Southwest Oklahoma. The route passes by the Fort Sill Museum and some of the base’s most important historical properties. The longer rides have a water stop at the Visitor Center in the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. You can pause here and learn about the makeup of the refuge along with what types of animals it supports. From the Visitor Center you may ride back by Mt. Scott through Medicine Park, or on a breathtaking downhill that will pass the Meers Restaurant and loop around Lake Lawtonka back to Lawton. This is a smell-the-roses ride. Take your time, look around and enjoy!
