About the Tulsa Bicycle Club ...

The Tulsa Bicycle Club, (TBC) sponsors a year round program of rides and events. Our rides vary in length from 5 to 125 miles and in difficulty from very easy social rides to hard and fast tours through and around Oklahoma's green country. The Tulsa Bicycle Club will leave no one out.

TBC is involved in helping develop bike paths, bike lanes and educate the public and our membership about bicycle safety. The club also actively participates in the organization of Oklahoma's state wide bicycle ride called Oklahoma FreeWheel. TBC FreeWheel Training Rides are held from March through May each year to help prepare for this cross-state ride.

TBC currently has 348 individual and family memberships. Many have the expertise and willingness to share their cycling knowledge regarding safety, ride routes, touring, as well as bicycle equipment selection, maintenance and repair. If you enjoy bicycle riding, come out to one of our rides and see how much fun it is to ride with us.

TBC General Membership Meetings are normally held at 7:00 pm on the first Thursday of each month at Martin East Regional Library located at 26th & Garnett, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Members and non-members alike are welcome to attend.

The Link, the TBC monthly newsletter, is available to TBC members from the Members Only area of this site. Non-members may view older issues of The Link from the Archived Issues page.

TBC Members are encouraged to join the Club's Yahoo Group. The group provides a way to get notification changes to our web site, updates regarding coming rides and events, notification of the availability of the latest issue of The Link, etc.. Yahoo Group members can also send email to the group, a good way to communicate anything "bicycling related" to a broad cross-section of the membership.

Find more information about becoming a member of the Club's Yahoo Group in the Members Only section of this web site.
